HD Programming is Now on APR! APR has now added three HD streams to our 91.5 FM radio signal. Now you can listen to multiple formats, all in the crisp, clear quality of High Definition radio.
What are the APR formats?

APR Live on contains our
standard live broadcast. The play list for APR Live is the same as our Schedule Page.
 XP Radio contains Xponential
Radio, an Adult Album Alternative format, featuring an eclectic mix of
rock, blues, and independent artists. The play list for XP Radio is located further down on this web page.
 BBC & Jazz currently
carries our BBC World News format. BBC News is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Bob Parlocha's Jazz programming airs from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. The Jazz play list is located on the WFMT Schedule Page.
What is HD Radio? Basically, digital radio works the same as conventional radio. There is a signal on one end and a receiver on the other. The difference is that sound quality is improved using digital signals. FM stations broadcasting in HD have CD-quality sound and AM stations have FM-quality sound.
How can I receive HD Radio? APR is now
streaming our HD channels online giving you an instant way of listening to our multiple HD formats at home or at the office. Just visit us online and pick your favorite format.
While the signal is free, if you want to listen to us in your car or on the go in HD, you will need a special HD Radio receiver in order to enjoy the improved sound quality that HD offers. Currently, all three HD streams can be heard on 91.5 FM in the Tuscaloosa area. Other parts of the state may only receive our HD1 signal, but with your continued support, we hope to expand our broadcast capabilities to offer all three HD signals to our entire listening area in the future.
HD receivers can be found in most major electronics stores, in the audio section of most major chain stores, or online. Many newer car models now offer HD Radio as part of their standard packages.
