Hi guys! My name is Courtney Bowland and I am a senior at the University of Alabama. I am originally from Lake Tahoe, Nevada, so living across the country these past few years has been quite a different experience! Some hobbies of mine include running, tennis, kayaking, reading, baking, and meeting new people. Working at Alabama Public Radio has definitely opened up a window of opportunities to meet new people, and I love what this job has provided so far. This year I am producing the Prototype podcast, and there are a lot of changes to the show that I hope you will check out.
Hey Prototypers! My name is Tricia Masucci, I am a senior at the University of Alabama and will be graduating in May 2008! Yikes! I am majoring in TV broadcasting and minoring in communication studies. I grew up in the New York - New Jersey area. From sophomore year on I have been here reporting at Alabama Public Radio. This year I am reporting for the Prototype podcast again and trying to help put a new fun spin on things. On our revamped Prototype you can expect new editions weekly, a monthly health report by yours truly, and a lot of other cool stuff. So keep listening and enjoy!
Brandon Hollingsworth is APR's Jacksonville State University bureau reporter, a position he's held since April 2006. He began listening to public radio in high school, but never imagined he would someday work in the field. Needless to say, he's pleased as punch about it. He's a senior at JSU, majoring in Communications with a minor in Political Science. Brandon covers news in the northeastern counties of Alabama, with a focus on science and poiltics. His hobbies range from drawing and painting to playing music and boring people with his long-winded treatises on geology. Despite his pretensions of worldliness, he's never been further west than Mississippi, nor further north than Washington, D.C. He hopes to rectify that soon. Hollingsworth is a native of Odenville, Alabama, and currently resides in Jacksonville.
