Author Urges Aid in Sudan

Samantha Power, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of A Problem From Hell: America and the Age of Genocide, warns that the United States and its allies risk becoming bystanders to slaughter as they were in1994 in Rwanda. Power, whose New York Times editorial article on the subject was printed Tuesday, says more than 30,000 minority Africans in Sudan have been killed. NPR's Melissa Block talks with Power.
