Atmore, AL – The Alabama Department of Corrections has scheduled an execution Thursday night at six. David Kevin Hocker is scheduled to die by lethal injection. He was convicted of the 1998 murder and robbery of Jerry Wayne Robinson in Henry County. Hocker dismissed his attorney and waived any further appeals of his death sentence. That's why his execution date comes sooner than usual. It will be carried out at Holman Prison in Atmore.
