Southeast Alabama Escapes Jeanne's Wrath

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated – Southeast Alabama escaped any major problems associated with Hurricane Jeanne. The storm brought some rain and some wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour to that part of the state. The serious damage occurred in Florida where Jeanne left a trail of destruction and killed at least six people. The storm is now a tropical depression and has been moving through Georgia toward the Carolinas.
