Roy Moore's Appeal Rejected

By Alabama Public Radio

Washington, DC – The U-S Supreme Court Monday decided not to hear the appeal of former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore. He lost his job last November, and he had appealed to get his job back. Moore defied a federal judicial order to remove his Ten Commandments monument from the state judicial building. The display was removed in August 2003. Later, the Alabama Court of the Judiciary ordered Moore to vacate his office.
