Gas Prices Continue to Rise

Birmingham, AL – Gas prices continue to rise. Triple-A Alabama's daily survey shows prices Monday were up about a penny per gallon from the weekend. A gallon of regular gas is averaging a dollar-87. Mid-grades are two-dollars-a-gallon, and premium is averaging just under two-dollars-six-cents. Birmingham still has the lowest metro average at nearly a dollar-85 per gallon. Huntsville is still the most expensive place to buy gas. It's a dollar-90 a gallon there. Triple-A Alabama says the prices are ten-cents higher than a month ago.
