Montgomery, AL – The rumors of a special legislative session will come to an end Thursday. Governor Bob Riley is expected to announce that he will call legislators back to Montgomery. His office issued a written statement Wednesday stating the governor will make reveal his plans Thursday at one o'clock. The session is expected to focus on health insurance reforms for state and public education employees. The governor says costs have been skyrocketing, and a government task force has recommended ways for the state to save millions of dollars. The possible session dates have not been made public, but Senator Gerald Dial says it could begin on November 8th and wrap up by the 20th.
