Some Vote Totals Change During Recount

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – Amendment Two is still undergoing a statewide recount. But, the effort is raising some questions. Counters are noticing some variations from the official numbers. Many counties have already completed their recounts, and some of them report the new totals have either gone up or down by a few votes. Macon and Hale counties are reporting changes of more than 100 votes. Secretary of State Nancy Worley says she hopes recount will be completed and the new statewide totals released by next week.
