Birmingham, AL – Congressman Artur Davis is out of the hospital. The Birmingham Democrat spent five days in UAB Hospital after being diagnosed with pneumonia. He was released Sunday. Davis is serving his second term. He was hospitalized last Wednesday after suffering flu-like symptoms for more than a week. Davis' spokesperson Corey Ealons says the Congressman's day-to-day schedule will be closely managed until he is completely recovered.
