Moore Describes Fear, Doubt in Autobiography

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore has written an autobiography. In the book, Moore describes the night he received the 10 Commandments monument that he would ultimately install in the state judicial building and that would ultimately cost him his job. Moore admits to having feelings of doubt and fear about his controversial decisions, but he also describes what he calls a lifelong mission to use his political position to acknowledge God. Moore says he knew he would face consequences for installing the monument in a public building. And he was removed from office in 2003 after refusing a federal judge's order to take the monument out of the rotunda of th ejudicial building. Moore's book, "So Help Me God," is scheduled to be released in March.
