Orange Beach, AL – Tourism officials along the Gulf Coast are beginning an advertising blitz to attract people to Alabama's beach resorts. The publicity campaign will begin next week, and it's designed to attract vacationers to an area still recovering from Hurricane Ivan. Staff members from the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau will begin the campaign in Huntsville and Nashville next week. The group will follow up in Atlanta and Birmingham during the second week of March.
