Tickets Required for Bush Visit

By Alabama Public Radio

Washington, DC – A spokesperson for the White House says tickets for President Bush's appearance in Montgomery next week will be distributed. However, they'll be passed out through groups interested in the Social Security issue and through the offices of congressmen who request them. The president is scheduled to speak at Auburn University Montgomery on Thursday afternoon. Tickets will be required for admission. The appearance is part of the president's swing through the South to promote his plan to overhaul the Social Security system.
