Birmingham, AL – The fraud trial of former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy is taking another unscheduled break in Birmingham. A court official says Scrushy's trial won't be held Tuesday because a juror is sick. The trial was also canceled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for Spring Break. That means the case will not resume until Monday. The trial had previously missed a day and a half because of another sick juror. Scrushy is accused of directing a scheme to overstate HealthSouth earnings by about $2.7 billion from 1996 through 2002. He maintains his innocence.
