Jackson, AL – A magnitude 3.3 earthquake shook parts of Clarke County early Tuesday morning but apparently caused no damage. The U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center says the epicenter of the minor earthquake was about 25 miles north of Jackson. It hit about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Some people did report being awakened by the quake, and others say their dishes were knocked off of their countertops.
