Montgomery, AL – The national debate over the future of Terri Schiavo was on the minds of dozens of people in Alabama Friday. More than 200 pro-life protesters held up their hands in silent prayer at the state Judicial Building. The group included members of youth groups from churches within the Assemblies of God for Alabama. The protestors remained silent for more than an hour before a vocal prayer rally led by The Cause U-S-A, a Washington-based prayer ministry. The prayer session concluded with the participants taking communion on the courthouse steps.
