Birmingham, AL – The average gas prices dropped about two cents in Alabama from Friday to Monday. Triple-A Alabama's latest gas station survey says regular unleaded averages $2.12/gallon, mid-grades are $2.26 and premium fuels are $2.33/gallon. Nationally, regular gas averages $2.18/gallon. Triple-A's survey of metro gas stations continues to find Birmingham's average for regular gas as the cheapest at $2.10. The most expensive prices were recorded in Huntsville at $2.14.
