Crematory Operator Formally Apologizes

By Alabama Public Radio

Rome, GA – The attorney for a man who admitted to dumping corpses at his crematorium in North Georgia has delivered more than 220 apology letters to a court in Georgia. The handwritten apologies were part of Brent Marsh's sentence. Marsh pleaded guilty to dumping corpses at his crematorium and was also sentenced to 12 years in prison. It took him about a month to write all the letters. The crematorium served funeral homes from Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
