Parts of I-65 Reversed on Saturday

By Alabama Public Radio

Mobile, AL – Parts of Interstate 65 will be reversed for most of Satuday between Mobile and Montgomery. The state Department of Transportation says all traffic will move northbound from the Mobile River to Exit 168 near Montgomery. That's at the intersection of I-65 and U-S Highway 80. Southbound lanes were closed at six o'clock Saturday morning to begin clearing the interstate of traffic. The reversal is expected to last until 5 P-M- Saturday. The state Department of Transportation has established a toll-free line for information about the lane reversal and road closures. That number is 1-888-588-2848. The information is also available at the department's web site at www.dot.state.al.us
