Soybean Rust Threatens Alabama's Crop

Mobile, AL – There are 160-thousand acres of soybean growing in the state. According to statistics from the Extension service, the statewide yield averages almost three million bushels a year. But Alabama's soybean crop is at risk from a fungus known as soybean rust. Alabama Public Radio's Chris Newbold reports.
