Florence, AL – You may remember the Renaissance Tower in Florence. It's the 300 foot structure the state opened in 1991 as a major tourist attraction. It never really took off, and it closed in 2001. But it's now ready for a second chance. The 360 Grille restaurant atop the tower will open Tuesday. The seats in the outer circle of the restaurant will make a full revolution every 75 minutes. Diners will have a view of the Tennessee River and the Tennessee Valley Authority's Wilson Dam.
