Birmingham, AL – Monday's survey from Triple-Alabama shows the average price for unleaded regular is two dollars, 76 cents a gallon. Midgrade fuels average two-95; and premium gas is slightly more than three dollars a gallon. Nationwide, gasoline prices have dropped an average of 20 cents in the past two weeks. The Lundberg Survey says self-serve regular averaged two dollars, 81 cents a gallon nationwide. The survey was taken before Hurricane Rita hit Texas and Louisiana this weekend.
