Birmingham, AL – Nine men and five women sit on the jury that will hear the murder trial of Nathaniel Woods. He's the second man charged with killing three Birmingham police officers in June 2004. Opening statements are scheduled for Wednesday. Officers Carlos Owen, Harley Chisholm and Robert Bennett were killed as they entered an Ensley apartment to serve a warrant on Woods. But Woods' attorneys say another man, Kerry Spencer, actually shot the officers. Spencer has already been convicted of killing the officers and was sentenced to death last month.
