Tyson Jr. to run for AG

Montgomery, AL – Tyson announced his plans Monday night in a speech to the Montgomery County Democratic Party. Tyson is the first Democrat to announce for the seat currently held by Republican Troy King. King says he plans to run next year. Tyson has served as district attorney in Mobile County for eleven years. Prior to that, he spent 14 years representing southwest Alabama on the State Board of Education.
