Riley, Two Others, Testify in Washington

Washington, DC – Governor Bob Riley and two other state officials were in Washington, D-C Wednesday. They testified before a Congressional committee that morning. Members of the House Select Bipartisan Committee are exploring how states prepared for and responded to Hurricane Katrina. Bruce Baughman, director of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and Jim Walker, Alabama's Homeland Security Director, also made the trip.
