Montgomery, AL – The 24 schools will log onto the classes in January, working with ``e-teachers'' at schools that do offer the classes. Governor Bob Riley first announced the effort, called Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educators and Students Statewide, or ACCESS, in February to help keep students in rural communities from being at a disadvantage. State Superintendent Joe Morton says the program isn't restricted to rural Alabama and will be used by all school systems in the state.
