Atlanta, GA – Joseph Garrison has admitted to diverting checks into his own account from August 2004 until last spring. The 31-year-old Garrison pleaded guilty yesterday before U-S District Court Judge Orinda Evans to bank fraud and identity theft. PJ White, interim president of the foundation's regional office, says no families with ill children were affected. White says this year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama is expected to grant the wishes of about 425 children. An assistant U-S Attorney says Garrison used some of the money to pay off large credit card bills, student loans and other debts.
