Gas Prices Still Dropping

By Alabama Public Radio

Birmingham, AL – It looked as if gasoline prices were going to level off after a steady decline recently. But they started going down again Tuesday. Triple-A Alabama's daily survey shows regular unleaded is averaging two dollars, 11 cents a gallon. Mid-grades are at two-25, and premium is now around two-32. Those numbers are down a bit more than a penny a gallon from Monday. They're also about 45 cents cheaper than a month ago. Mobile has the most expensive price for regular unleaded at two dollars, 17 cents a gallon. Montgomery is the cheapest at two-dollars-three-cents.
