Tuscaloosa, AL – Alabama is among the states considered to have more than 20 percent of its population classified as obese. Figures from 2005 show Alabama ranks second behind Mississippi as the nation's fattest state. Today, Pam Doyle continues her series on the health care costs of obesity and why residents of our state should be more concerned about this trend than the rest of the country.
