Tuscaloosa, AL – The Chinese New Year is being celebrated in downtown Tuscaloosa Monday at the Children's Hands on Museum. Brett Tannehill recently sat down with Pat James, the museum's public educator, to talk about the New Year celebration and the museum's efforts to expose children to cultural diversity.

Among its numerous upcoming events, the Children's Hands on Museum also will celebrate its 20th year of operation on February 19th with an event titled "Everybody's Birthday Party" held at the Bryant Conference Center.
