Mobile, AL – More than 75 leaders from Gulf Coast communities are expected to attend today's public meeting for the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program. The group is hosting a conversation about the environmental issues affecting the Gulf Coast. Specifically, the meeting will focus on the area's potential economic needs through the year 20-25. Scheduled speakers include Buddy Sharpless. He's the executive director of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama. State Senator Bradley Byrne and Shelby County Commissioner Lindsey Allison also are expected to attend. The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program will host its meeting at the Daphne Civic Center at one o'clock.
