Alabama Dems Consider Darby's Comments

By Alabama Public Radio

Birmingham, AL – The Alabama Democratic Party's chairman, Joe Turnham, says the party is considering what to do about Attorney General candidate Larry Darby. The issue concerns some of Darby's views he has expressed recently. For starters, Darby says the Holocaust never happened. He says be believes no more than 140-thousand Jewish people died in Europe during World War Two, saying most of them died from typhus. He blames what he calls a "Holocaust industry" for inflating the number of Jewish deaths to around six million, which historians have accepted as accurate. Darby also says he'll speak to a "pro-white" organization this weekend in New Jersey. He also has publicly advocated legalizing drugs and shooting all illegal immigrants. Larry Darby says he knows his views are radical, but he says he believes they have wide support among Alabama's voters.
