Montgomery, AL – Montgomery attorney Fred Sempler testified in the government corruption trial of former Governor Don Siegelman and three others Wednesday. He said Lanny Young stood to make about one-point-eight million dollars from a deal to build two warehouses for the state. That deal crumbled with Young submitted false invoices. Young is a lobbyist and landfill developer who created a firm called Goat Hill Construction Company. According to testimony, though, he had no previous experience handling warehouse construction projects.
