Smith Named to Wildlife Council

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – Montgomery attorney Jock Smith has become the first Alabamian and the first African American ever to serve on the National Wildlife Federation's President's Advisory Council. It's an environmental watchdog group that advises the President on several environmental issues, such as global warming and wildlife protection. Smith was formally inducted Thursday in Montgomery. He says he's humbled by his selection.
