Primary Runoffs Held Tuesday

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated, AL – The Republican Party ballot had five statewide offices on it for Tuesday's primary runoff elections: lieutenant governor, auditor, Public Service Commission, criminal appeals court and civil appeals court. There were no statewide races on the Democratic Party ballot. Both parties, though, did have some localized races on them. Both state and county election officials expected a low turnout. The hot weather didn't help.
