Washington, DC – The U-S Senate passed a bill last week that would open up a large portion of the Gulf of Mexico to new drilling leases for oil and natural gas. Republican Alabama Senators Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions say the legislation would expand the nation's energy supply and provide some relief at the gas pump. But the bill will likely face opposition by members of the U-S House. From Capitol Hill, Terry Gildea reports.
