Huntsville, AL – A school bus carrying high school students ran off a Huntsville-area interstate and crashed today injuring dozens of students. Eric Schultz, a Huntsville Times photographer, said sheets were spread out at the scene, but there has been NO immediate confirmation of any deaths. Television station W-H-N-T reported that 30 students were injured, some critically, and ambulances transported the injured to Huntsville and Crestwood Hospitals. The bus had severe front-end damage and landed below the I-565 overpass. The bus is from Lee High School and was headed to a technical school in downtown Huntsville.
