Northport, AL – Saturday (6/23) was sunny and hot across west Alabama, and that made it perfect for a disaster drill. But there were no sirens, no emergency crews dashing back and forth, and no actors playing injured citizens. Instead, it was just a bunch of folks in a field in Northport, talking on their radios. Alabama Public Radio's Butler Cain reports.
