Birmingham Mayoral Vote Is Today (Tuesday)

Birmingham AL – After weeks of listening to campaign ads, candidates debates and political forums, Birmingham voters head to the polls today to decide who will lead Alabama's largest city.

There are 10 mayoral candidates on the ballot incumbent Bernard Kincaid, city council members William Bell, Carole Smitherman and Valerie Abbott, county commissioner Larry Langford, lawyer Patrick Cooper, city inspector Barry Taylor, Raymond Brooks, Willis Hendrix and Darryl Perry.

The poll opened at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
