Hale County Suffers Wind Damage

Tuscaloosa AL – Several tornado warnings were issued yesterday as scattered showers and thunderstorms gave Alabama a much needed soaking.
At least 8 tornado warnings were issued in Mobile County, where a small tornado is thought to have caused light damage. The damage was worse in Hale County near Newbern, where around 30 homes and 20 cars were damaged. There were also 2 injuries. Some tree were downed in Bibb County.
Emergency officials will tour damaged areas to determine whether tornados or strong winds are responsible.
