Salvation Army Asks for Support

By Associated Press

Montgomery, AL – The Montgomery Area Salvation Army needs your support. The relief agency is in desperate need of food donations for its Thanksgiving meals.

They need cases of chicken soup, cream of mushroom, and chicken broth. Other ingredients needed include self-rising flour and self-rising corn meal, canned sweet potatoes and pre-cooked corn bread.

Workers expect to feed as many as 1,000 people at its Montgomery facility on Bell Street which opens at 9 a.m.
