Public Meeting Will Focus on Fort Rucker

By Associated Press

Enterprise, AL – A public forum Monday night at the Enterprise Civic Center will allow people living and conducting business near Fort Rucker to voice any concerns about the Army base.

Officials will collect comment at the 6 p.m. meeting for a Fort Rucker land use study.

Enterprise Mayor Kenneth Boswell says two prior public forums since September in Daleville and Ozark had low attendance.

He says people must understand that this is one of the most important events that will take place in the Rucker area. He says it's a time for everyone to voice their opinion about any subject relating to Fort Rucker.
