Gas Prices Hold Steady in Alabama

Birmingham, AL – Gasoline prices are holding steady in Alabama despite crude oil dropping about $7.00 a barrel in the past two days. Triple-A Alabama's daily survey showed regular averaging $3.00 a gallon Thursday. The drop is less than a penny on the day and about one cent from a week ago. Midgrade fuel is $3.21 while premium averages $3.31 a gallon.

A month ago, regular unleaded cost about quarter less than today's price and its about 85 cents higher than a year ago.
