High Risk of Wildfires

By Associated Press

Alabama – Forecasters say Alabama is at an unusually high risk for wildfires.

The state has been suffering from a lack of rainfall for months. But the humidity is also very low today. And forecasters say that means there's a big danger of wildfires across much of the state.

The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for most of the southern part of the state because of the fire risk.
