Super Tuesday Vote Returns To Be Shown On Digital Billboards

Birmingham, AL – Want to know which presidential candidates are leading as the vote totals roll in across Alabama on Tuesday night? Look up.

The Outdoor Advertising Association of Alabama plans to post election returns on 35 digital billboards in eight Alabama cities tomorrow. The president of the group, Tom Traylor of Lamar Outdoor Advertising, said the association will update all the billboards at once from a central location. He calls it a public service to motorists.

Traylor said the Alabama association is still working out details but it might use totals compiled from the Democratic and Republican parties, Traylor said.

Vote tallies will be posted on billboards in Anniston, Auburn, Birmingham, Decatur, Gadsden, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery.
