Alabama Governor Sticks with Tradition on Valentine's

Montgomery – There's no suspense about what Alabama first lady Patsy Riley will get for Valentine's Day. Governor Bob Riley says he's sticking with tradition.

After a news conference Wednesday at a Wal-Mart in Montgomery, Riley mingled with shoppers looking at Valentine's candy and flower displays that were near his podium.

When asked if he had done his Valentine's shopping yet, Riley said he planned to give his wife a heart-shaped box of candy tomorrow.

He said he gave her the same thing when she was in ninth grade and hasn't missed a year since.
