Enterprise High Valedictorian Has Extra Reason To Celebrate

Enterprise, AL – Enterpirse High School valedictorian Roy Crump III has a special reason to celebrate graduation -- and the chance to shake hands with first lady Laura Bush.

Little more than a year ago, he was trapped under rubble with a broken back when a tornado destroyed the high school, killing eight students huddled in a corridor. Crump was crouched down on the same corridor floor when the roof and walls collapsed on the students.

He says it's a miracle he survived.

Now he looks forward to graduation ceremonies Thursday night, with the first lady to speek.

He says life is returning to normal since the horror when the twister struck on March 1, 2007.
