Bay Minette, AL – Officials expect about 250 church and community leaders will meet in Bay Minette as part of Gov. Bob Riley's program to provide inmates leaving prison some assistance in rejoining their communities.
The Bay Minette session is set for Wednesday at Faulkner State Community College. The participants expect to set up a resource and activity guide for use in Baldwin, Butler, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe and Washington counties.
Riley launched the Community Partnership for Recovery and Reentry (CPR) Network in March. Other regional meetings are planned over the next two months.
