AG King Seizes Voting Records in Third County

By Associated Press

Montgomery, AL – The state attorney general's office has seized the primary election voting records from a third county.

Attorney General Troy King announced Monday that agents from his office had served subpoenas on Lowndes County election officials and taken custody of records from the primary election on June 3. King said he took the action after hearing of alleged improprieties.

The attorney general previously took the same action in Bullock and Perry counties after they reported unusually high levels of absentee ballots.
