Farnborough, England – A Boeing executive said he's looking forward to addressing the revised bid request for a $35 billion aerial tanker contract.
John Lockard, CEO of Boeing's defense unit, made the comments today (Monday) at the Farnborough International Airshow in England.
Louis Gallois, chief executive of European-based EADS, said Saturday he remains confident his team will win the bidding process. EADS and Northrop Grumman had selected Mobile for their assembly plant.
The Pentagon is expected to issue a draft of the revised bid request to the companies by early August. A winner will be picked by the end of the year.
